MOOR'S HEAD handmade ceramic table ornament Made in Italy

The "Bentornato Artigianato - Ceramiche al centro" artistic workshop was founded in 2012 and is located in the medieval center of Aidone, near the archaeological site of Morgantina, in the heart of Sicily.
Inside the laboratory, his hands busy with clay, lathes and brushes intent on creating, modelling and painting is the master Lorenzo, who for years has been successfully dedicating himself to his passion for ceramics, often combined with wood, fabrics and other materials.
The vast collection of handcrafted products and artistic artefacts created by Lorenzo connect tradition and modernity and range from furnishing accessories, to jewellery, to artistic ceramics and sculptures.
When Lorenzo immerses himself in the deepest Sicilian tradition, he creates the famous dishes with the "grandmother's doily" technique. The result is a truly surprising effect, a perfect example of a fusion of classic and modern.
Other typical creations of the master are the lanterns made using the fretwork technique, the pine cones with their mysterious meaning and the Sicilian Moore's heads inspired by legends dating back to the Arab domination of Sicily.
Each item is a true work of art individually marked and accompanied by an original certificate of authenticity. Made in Italy in its highest expression.
