Elio Picariello was already as a young boy fascinated by colors, which led him to attend the studio of the master Mario Barra where he experienced his first approaches to painting.
After completing his studies with Maestro Barra, he began his studies at the Art School of Avellino where, in addition to painting, he also discovered the art of ceramics. His atelier is also located in Avellino, not far from Naples, in the heart of central Italy.
Over the years his brushstrokes become more and more interesting, decisive and full of meaning, in fact over the years he has managed to enjoy great success both nationally and internationally.
Elio Picariello is one of those artists who know how to make love for tradition coexist with the aspiration to modernity. He succeeds easily, thanks to his natural gifts, his own freshness of invention, a taste for poetry and attention to reality through a continuous study.
